Pay-For-Play Part 2: Trump Plans Another Controversial Crypto Dinner

Two Trump Organization affiliates are promoting yet another contest for investors in the president’s meme coin to score an invitation to the most “exclusive dinner in the world.”

The top 185 holders of the $TRUMP meme coin will be invited to “an evening with 3 Legends and President Donald J. Trump” at his private club in Washington, D.C., on Nov. 22. The top 29 investors will receive extra special invites to a VIP reception “with YOUR FAVORITE PRESIDENT and one of the Legends.” The four biggest investors will also receive an 18-karat Trump-branded gold watch.

All attendees will be given several gifts at the dinner, including a commemorative poster and trading card, TRUMP fragrance and a Fight Fight Fight watch.

The contest, promoted with an AI-generated image of Trump designed to make him look both younger and thinner, runs through Nov. 12. The three “legends” have yet to be announced, but image placeholders suggest they’ll all be men.

Not surprisingly, Trump has done this before.

Saw a good movie yesterday,

that really showed how fast time flies. Argo is about the hostage crisis in Iran, 33 years ago, and has a bit of history at the the beginning, that most of us have forgotten, as in WHY the Iranian people were SO pissed off at Americans. In 1953, the popularly elected president of Iran was replaced by the Shah of Iran, in a coup directed and financed by the CIA and the US, to protect America's Big Oil interests, much the same way Saddam Hussein was installed in Iraq. The shah, like Hussein, was a despot who tyrannized the people and looted the treasury. When he was overthrown, in a populist revolution, he fled to the US, but the Iranians wanted to put him on trial. Hence, the Iranian mobs took out their anger on the US embassy and it's workers. Am really conflicted,

with the 'scandals' in Wahington. First of all Benghazi is not a scandal, no matter how hard the Pubs try to make it into one. BUT, the IRS and AP affairs have some merit, although the Tea Party (created and supported by the Koch bros) and FOX News are just arms of the Repub Party, whose sole intent is to take down Obama and the Dems, by any and all means. That is a given. SO, should the Dems just roll over when they are constantly under attack? No, BUT, they need to fight legally, and using the IRS and stifling a free press isn't right either. Not NEARLY as egregious as the last admin's behavior, but wrong, none the less. Personally, it just makes me more disgusted at the dirty game of politics that is all about the power and money involved, rather than doing what is best for the people.
