Good ‘Letter to Editor’ in today’s Denver Post. Very true..

The media get it:

Re: “The partisan media ...” Dec. 10 commentary
Gary Abernathy’s observations are flawed if not completely backward as to the facts. The reason our constitutional bulwark, the mass media, addresses Trump as it does is because it knows him only too well.
The media see him for how he presents himself and how he operates. Trump’s record speaks for itself. It is clear that Trump’s interest lies with Trump alone. His personal currency is wealth and self-aggrandizement. The world knows Trump as a poorly educated narcissist who lacks class and culture. The media simply reflect the facts not only as they have found but as the world reflects.
It is becoming increasingly apparent that Trump’s victory in the 2016 presidential election was due in part to Hilary Clinton’s lack of appeal as a candidate, the Russian influence, and a great deal of angry Americans seeking change.
Thus it has nothing to do with the character or intellectual competency of those who voted for Trump. The critique is that of the man and his character, not that of the American electorate!
