Finally finished,

'South of Broad', by Pat Conroy, and don't remember having to force myself to slog through a book, like this one. He used to be a great author, and this last effort took 14 years, according to him. Yeah, 6 months to write, 13 years to try to fix, and 6 months to publish. He should be ashamed. OK, maybe not THAT bad, but, you expect a whole lot more from an author of his caliber. Had some good stuff in it, but, the suspension of reality was just not worth it.

Yahoo…Dotard’s Big Beautiful Diesel Deal pissed off Ukraine and most of the world, plus well over half of Congress and the US, BUT, it helped his buddy Putin and his partners in Big Oil, sooo, we can see where the dick’s priorities are.

  President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia would supply the global market with 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels total.  This is equivalent to a little more than a single day of global demand.  The U.S. is a net diesel exporter so it does not need Russian supply, said Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates. Goldman Sachs estimated the initial Russian release would only reduce wholesale diesel prices by $1 to $2 per barrel, which is currently at approximately $200/barrel.
