Here are some lessons I hope the Republican Party learned from Tuesday’s election:
1. Voters still blame George W. Bush, not Barack Obama, for the state of the economy. So stop demonizing people who are living on food stamps and unemployment insurance. They would much prefer to be working and earning a living wage.
2. Women don’t like to be lectured by men about their bodies and their health care decisions.
3. When you try to suppress the vote, you only succeed in motivating people to turn out in droves and stand in line for hours just to vote against you.

And the Pubs wonder why they lost....
