Have really mixed feelings

about the firing of CU Buff football coach, Jon Embree. He inherited 'no talent' and a really tough schedule, BUT, they weren't getting better, it seemed. Bill McCartney, who won a national championship, was 1-10 in his third year, but Jon never really had a chance. Glad it wasn't me who had to make the decision. Bottom line, a really good guy, that the players respected, but the worst team ever, at CU, and they have to eat his 5 year contract. It all goes back to the GWBush of CU football, Dan Hawkins, who killed the program.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
