I said earlier,

that I was very proud of Colorado voters, esp Broomfield, for voting Obama in, as well as Dem congressmen and Prop 64. But, what really set us apart, and I didn't realize at the time, is that we voted new taxes on ourselves, to pay for education. Yup, Denver and JeffCo included (which is a real shock) voted for increased property taxes to fund education, thus INSURING a Dem (vs anti-science/education Repubs) future for our state. Kari, as a teacher, who has been underpaid, while the Pubs spent over a trillion on war throughout the world, was esp happy. Gotta love it...
