We’re all familiar with rats fleeing a sinking ship, but the rodent stampede is gaining ground as more leaks appear in the ship.

 Republican stalwarts like Marjorie Taylor Greene and Tucker Carlson have been joined by Karl Rove as they distance themselves from Boss Hogg and his disastrous policies that have alienated our former allies, caused worldwide economic chaos with his tariffs and unnecessary war that has spiked oil prices around the world.

Republicans in tight contests avoided his midterm convention in droves.

Even his handpicked Supreme Court is showing they aren’t cowed by his illegal policies and loud rants, as he pursues a policy of vengeance and bullying at home and abroad.

World leaders, led by Carney in Canada are saying, ‘Screw you, we’re not taking it anymore’, and they are  beginning to circumvent the US with new trade policies that avoid his stoopid tariffs.

Yup, as the Repub ship of state starts listing to the side, critters who don’t wanna drown are seeking to survive and live to fight another day, as they scurry overboard.

Saw a good movie yesterday,

that really showed how fast time flies. Argo is about the hostage crisis in Iran, 33 years ago, and has a bit of history at the the beginning, that most of us have forgotten, as in WHY the Iranian people were SO pissed off at Americans. In 1953, the popularly elected president of Iran was replaced by the Shah of Iran, in a coup directed and financed by the CIA and the US, to protect America's Big Oil interests, much the same way Saddam Hussein was installed in Iraq. The shah, like Hussein, was a despot who tyrannized the people and looted the treasury. When he was overthrown, in a populist revolution, he fled to the US, but the Iranians wanted to put him on trial. Hence, the Iranian mobs took out their anger on the US embassy and it's workers. Argo, based on a true story, tells how Hollywood helped smuggle six Americans back home, with a fake movie. Good flick that explained a lot about why 'they hate us' over there, and brought back many memori...

Given a chance to admit that she made a mistake when she stated that our 'Founding Fathers' worked tirelessly to end slavery, she doubled down and claimed John Quincy Adams, who was a young child at the time, was against slavery, so she was/is right. Wow.
