FEMA denies federal funding 
Trump previously approved assistance for Colorado counties

Communities affected by the Aspen Acres wildfire, which burned more than 100,000 acres and destroyed hundreds of homes in southern Colorado, have less federal funding coming their way after the federal government denied two types of aid the state had requested in a disaster declaration.

The Federal Emergency Management Agency denied Colorado’s request for Individual Assistance and Hazard Mitigation Grant Program funding, the governor’s office announced in a news release late Friday.

Individual assistance would have helped individuals and families in Pueblo and Custer counties find temporary housing, repair their homes, seek crisis counseling or access disaster unemployment assistance and disaster legal services, state officials said. 

Maybe you’ll vote differently next time, huh?

Saw a good movie yesterday,

that really showed how fast time flies. Argo is about the hostage crisis in Iran, 33 years ago, and has a bit of history at the the beginning, that most of us have forgotten, as in WHY the Iranian people were SO pissed off at Americans. In 1953, the popularly elected president of Iran was replaced by the Shah of Iran, in a coup directed and financed by the CIA and the US, to protect America's Big Oil interests, much the same way Saddam Hussein was installed in Iraq. The shah, like Hussein, was a despot who tyrannized the people and looted the treasury. When he was overthrown, in a populist revolution, he fled to the US, but the Iranians wanted to put him on trial. Hence, the Iranian mobs took out their anger on the US embassy and it's workers. Argo, based on a true story, tells how Hollywood helped smuggle six Americans back home, with a fake movie. Good flick that explained a lot about why 'they hate us' over there, and brought back many memori...

I'm not a Bible scholar,

so I don't know if it's tue, but I read that Paul, the 'founder' of Christianity, author of the Gospel of John, and the most prolific writer of the New Testament, never referred to a virgin birth, in ANY of his writings. Neither did Mark, the first of the apostles to write a Gospel. Matthew was the first to add it to the story. Furthermore, they referred to Jesus as being of the lineage of David, to fulfill an Old Testament prophecy, BUT, the lineage is from Joseph, his father(?). Pretty interesting, I think, and doesn't make sense to me, but I'm just a logical, rational person, not a Bible scholar. Am I just 'misinformed'?
