Just figured out why our ‘high IQ’ president, (which is all we need against AI, according to the asshole)….is SO in favor of AI, while all the HEADS of AI, really smart people, say it needs to be regulated, cuz it could kill us all.

 The dickwad needs the AI bubble to stay inflated, to prop up his bubble economy….sooo, he doesn’t give a shit about the future of humanity.

Trump has long dismissed climate change as a "hoax." So it was a tell that he went on social media to specifically draw an analogy between a planet that is warming despite his denials and the calls for AI controls expressed by leaders in the industry.

By changing reality, Trump frees himself from an obligation to act. In energy policy, that means "drill, baby, drill." His administration has slashed regulation, pleasing oil industry donors. His rants against wind farms suggest he hankers for a 20th-century economy running on carbon.

This is the same dumbass that claims the Jeffrey Epstein saga is a "Democratic hoax.”

Saw a good movie yesterday,

that really showed how fast time flies. Argo is about the hostage crisis in Iran, 33 years ago, and has a bit of history at the the beginning, that most of us have forgotten, as in WHY the Iranian people were SO pissed off at Americans. In 1953, the popularly elected president of Iran was replaced by the Shah of Iran, in a coup directed and financed by the CIA and the US, to protect America's Big Oil interests, much the same way Saddam Hussein was installed in Iraq. The shah, like Hussein, was a despot who tyrannized the people and looted the treasury. When he was overthrown, in a populist revolution, he fled to the US, but the Iranians wanted to put him on trial. Hence, the Iranian mobs took out their anger on the US embassy and it's workers. Argo, based on a true story, tells how Hollywood helped smuggle six Americans back home, with a fake movie. Good flick that explained a lot about why 'they hate us' over there, and brought back many memori...

I'm not a Bible scholar,

so I don't know if it's tue, but I read that Paul, the 'founder' of Christianity, author of the Gospel of John, and the most prolific writer of the New Testament, never referred to a virgin birth, in ANY of his writings. Neither did Mark, the first of the apostles to write a Gospel. Matthew was the first to add it to the story. Furthermore, they referred to Jesus as being of the lineage of David, to fulfill an Old Testament prophecy, BUT, the lineage is from Joseph, his father(?). Pretty interesting, I think, and doesn't make sense to me, but I'm just a logical, rational person, not a Bible scholar. Am I just 'misinformed'?
