Just finished, 'Catching Fire',

and won't give anything away, cuz I know at least 3 of you are reading the series, but am now into 'Mockingjay', the third and final part of 'The Hunger Games'. I can see how/why Kari's class is so into it.  (Hint: There are several 'clues' on the cover). Also found out Lee Child, Michael Connelly and Steven White all had new books out, so I got on the waiting list at the library. Lee Child was on 'Sunday Morning, w/Charles Osgood', this morning, and I found out the fans of Jack, of which there are many of us, are called 'Reacher's Creatures'. Interesting show today, as they explained how California is way overdue, for 'The Big One'.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
