Saw a good action flick, today

'Red', which stands for' retired, extremely dangerous', is a fast paced, fun movie that is probably better enjoyed by the retirement age audience. Great cast, that moves the plot along, with never a dull moment. Also, saw a preview of one that I'm really looking forward to. 'Fair Game', is the true story of Joe Wilson and Valerie Plame, who called 'bullshit', when the Bush/Cheney crowd said Saddam had nuclear weapons. She was 'outed' as a CIA agent and Joe was trashed by the Bushies when they tried to prove there were no WMD's in Iraq. Nothing new to those of us who watched the facts unfold, and I'm sure those who live with the heads permanently implanted firmly up their ass will find a way to ignore reality, BUT, should be interesting to see the real life situation depicted on the big screen.

I have yet to see a movie that was 100 percent accurate in regards to reality, so good luck with that.

What???? How about the acclained Passion of the Christ, by that pious Catholic woman beater, drunk, and adulterer, Mel Gibson. The one who built a chapel on his property. The one who left his wife for another woman and had a child out of wedlock. The one who hates Jews. That Christian man? That 100% true story........

Haven't seen the movie, BUT, I do know that Joe and Valerie were crucified for telling the truth about the WMD, that Saddam supposedly had. And Joe Wilson was GHW Bush's hand picked expert in the area. Bottom line? A war based on lies to boost the price of oil. Worked real well for them, too.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
