That time of year, again,

when we shut down the sprinkler system, pick the last of the apples, tomatoes and peppers and get ready for winter and the first freeze, which is s'posed to be this week. Loveland ski area opened today and Trail Ridge road is snowed in. Seems like one of the nicest falls ever, but 'tis time to move on. Just one more little task, putting an elk in the freezer, and we'll be all set. Hasta la vista, summer....

Yahoo…Dotard’s Big Beautiful Diesel Deal pissed off Ukraine and most of the world, plus well over half of Congress and the US, BUT, it helped his buddy Putin and his partners in Big Oil, sooo, we can see where the dick’s priorities are.

  President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia would supply the global market with 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels total.  This is equivalent to a little more than a single day of global demand.  The U.S. is a net diesel exporter so it does not need Russian supply, said Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates. Goldman Sachs estimated the initial Russian release would only reduce wholesale diesel prices by $1 to $2 per barrel, which is currently at approximately $200/barrel.
