Ryder Cup play started today,


in a downpour, in Wales. Sun Mountain Sports provided the raingear for the US team and it seemed like great PR for them, UNTIL, our boys found out the raingear was water resistant, NOT, waterproof. HUGE difference. Soaked, soggy, heavily waterlogged and getting thoroughly trounced by a relatively dry and comfortable Euro team, the guys went to the clubhouse and replaced their rainsuits with the local merchandise, which just happens to have the European Ryder Cup logo on it. Good job team USA and Sun Mountain. Think there's some 'splainin' goin' on somewhere?

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
