After the Tea Party and the Repubs

brought the country to it's knees, in a manufactured political crisis, by refusing to pay the debts that all of Congress authorized over the years, and promised to do it again, while absolutely refusing ANY KIND of revenue adjustment, (as in tens of billions of oil company subsidies), S&P rightly downgraded the US credit rating. SO, the Repub response? Blame it on Obama, for the deficit and wrecked economy he inherited, from Bush and the Repubs. Not anything different, but SO obviously wrong....

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them. A once proud party, like a beast in it's death throes, striking out to harm whatever's close, threatening to shut the gov't down, (again), over the debt limit, which is just paying the bills they already ran up.
