Since I finished,

the 5th book in the 'Fire and Ice' series, I needed some more reading material, for my Kindle, SO, I perused Amazon, com, for some downloads. A really nice feature, is 'Sample', where they send you, instantaneously, a sample of the book you're interested in, at no charge. THEN, if you like it, you can 'click' on the book, and it's instantaneously downloaded and charged to the cred card assoc w/your account. Amazing, as I picked up 3 new books, today, without leaving my recliner. I can see why Borders has gone out of business. Sad, cuz I love the printed word, but they are dinosaurs, in todays' digital world.  BTW, you can also download newspapers and magazines, as well as games. etc. Really nice, when going on a long trip, and don't wanna carry a bunch of heavy books, but want a nice variety of reading material, AND, gift cards make nice gifts. Am starting to sound like a salesman, but that's OK....

I leaning towards that Kindle process. I have given more books to the library than I can count and have a stack next to the television that needs to go, however since the library has cut back on its hours due to the budget in Toledo, I never know when to go now. This seems the way to go now. It would fit better in my handbag, too, and you wouldn't need a bookmark, either, would you?

Because I'm sorta stuck in an Anti-Bush rant.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D99NHb6B03s Can you imagine all those rapper stars with these things? Of course, they'd have to have theirs with 'da bling! Can't be standard, gawd no! And of course, Britney's gotta have one in her car. Paris with her pooch totin' one on the red carpet at some fete. The boys in 'da hood will have a field day on their daily drive bys. P Diddy will wear his on a chain around his neck. You suppose there will be special pockets made in jeans for these things? Trailer trash folks will have 'em camouflaged. Jeff Foxworthy will have to come up with some fresh Redneck stuff. Think George W. will get one, each for the twins? Don't forget Dickie boy for those spur of the moment huntin' trips. Of course Ma Babs will have hers with pearls. Think it will affect the Royals? I can imagine Charles and Camilia on their fox hunt...........ah yes, and Prince Philip, too, must include the...

Yahoo…Dotard’s Big Beautiful Diesel Deal pissed off Ukraine and most of the world, plus well over half of Congress and the US, BUT, it helped his buddy Putin and his partners in Big Oil, sooo, we can see where the dick’s priorities are.

President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia would supply the global market with 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels total.  This is equivalent to a little more than a single day of global demand.  The U.S. is a net diesel exporter so it does not need Russian supply, said Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates. Goldman Sachs estimated the initial Russian release would only reduce wholesale diesel prices by $1 to $2 per barrel, which is currently at approximately $200/barrel.
