Just returned,

from two weeks in Europe. Pic above (click to enlarge) is my lovely traveling partner, taken in Lucerne, or Luzern, as they call it, Switzerland, beside the famous wooden bridge. Fantastic trip with perfect weather and no problems. Started in London, then joined tour group for channel crossing to Brussels, then on to Amsterdam for a couple of days. Next, it was a cruise up the Rhine valley with a stay in Heidelberg and couple days at Lake Lucerne, followed by an all day ride to Paris, through some beautiful country. The tour ended after 3 days in Paris, but we flew to Rome, our fav city, for a few more days. Then, it was a flight to London, followed by a LONG flight home, that ended last night. Today, dealing with jet lag and a body clock that is 8 hours off. Thanks, Ted and Kari, for watching Bailey and the airport rides. Carol started to keep all the wine corks, but would have needed a bigger suitcase....

Screw you, whoever you are. This is my diary for my rocking chair years, which are coming up fast. If you don't like it, don't read it.
