That would be ZERO help in preventing the gun violence/killings in the last several shootings. BUT, the rightwingnuts LOVE it, cuz it reinforces the crap from FOX. Can you say 'IGNORANT/ NOT A CLUE'?
As I watch the reactions, from news/talk show hosts etc, I see a call for action. BUT, there is no action anyone can take, to protect us from the 'lone wolf', mentally unstable nutjob who wants to kill people. Sure, it should be harder to buy assault rifles, but that won't stop 'em. Nothing will, and as much as we wanna think we can make a difference, we can't....

Yahoo…Dotard’s Big Beautiful Diesel Deal pissed off Ukraine and most of the world, plus well over half of Congress and the US, BUT, it helped his buddy Putin and his partners in Big Oil, sooo, we can see where the dick’s priorities are.

  President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia would supply the global market with 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels total.  This is equivalent to a little more than a single day of global demand.  The U.S. is a net diesel exporter so it does not need Russian supply, said Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates. Goldman Sachs estimated the initial Russian release would only reduce wholesale diesel prices by $1 to $2 per barrel, which is currently at approximately $200/barrel.
