Dotard’s main source of sycophants is the Southern Christians. The kind of Hypocrites who can look at Trump and Jesus and say, ‘Yup, those are my guys’, and not see the irony and ignorance involved in such a statement.

But, within that group there are growing signs of dissatisfaction, AND, the entire ‘church crowd’ is rapidly disappearing, which is bad news for the Trumpies, but good news for our democracy. 

Division is causing people to abandon Christian churches. Last year, Barna found that the share of practicing Christians has dropped nearly in half since 2000. Gallup recently reported that U.S. church membership fell below 50% for the first time in eight decades.

As wearing masks and getting vaccinated become ‘political’, it’s easy to see why the young and educated decided to ‘cut the cord’ with anti-science, pro-Trump ‘organized religion’.

Young adults flee the church

In a 2017 Lifeway Research survey, a majority (66%) of Americans ages 23-30 said they stopped attending church on a regular basis for at least a year after turning 18. Among their top reasons was that church members seemed divisive, judgmental or hypocritical.

And, as long as mainstream churches support a morally bankrupt, LYING sinner like Donald Trump, there isn’t much chance of any great ‘revivals’ anytime in the foreseeable future, as the Hypocrisy of organized religion is put on full display.
