As the West swelters with extreme heat and drought, exacerbated by Climate Change, the Dems are trying to take steps to mitigate the disaster.

 The Pubs, withJoe Manchin, whose wealth comes from coal mines and Big Oil lobbyists, say, ‘f—k you, not our problem.’

Democrats wanted to spend hundreds of billions of dollars over 10 years on tax credits for purchases such as rooftop solar panels, electric cars and tax credits on incentives for projects such as advanced battery storage and cleaning up industrial processes. 

No way, say the Pubs, but we’ll send hundreds of billions more to the F-35 program, already over a Trillion and a half, and growing, cuz, you know, can’t throw enough money at Big Defense, where the US spends more than the closest ten nations, COMBINED!

It’s called the military industrial complex, never ending web between the military, ‘defense’ contractors, retired military and Congress.

Better solar, electric cars and batteries? Screw you, say the Pubs, give us more tax breaks for the military, the extremely wealthy and giant corporations, many of which pay ZERO tax.

And you wonder WHY I can’t stand em(R)?
