Seems a no-brainer, right? Protect Americans right to contraception? (The only good news is that the voters, you know those people who like their birth control, are gonna remember this crap when it comes time to vote.)

 Not if you’re a Republican. Only eight of the jerks voted for it, after Clarence Thomas said SCOTUS was going after same sex marriage and contraception, after they outlawed abortion protections.

The Right to Contraception Act, introduced by Rep. Kathy Manning (D-N.C.), codifies the right to birth control into federal law by creating a statutory right for people to obtain and use contraceptives, as well as codifying protections for physicians who provide contraceptives.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW.
