Saw a Netflix documentary on Cults, and was reminded how/why people mare sucked in.

 A sense of belonging, a willingness to be told what to do/think. Not having to make decisions, while thinking they are making the world a better place. Bottom line, a place for those who never felt ‘adequate’ in their own minds.

Trump recognized this part of our society, and exploited their weaknesses, just like the cult leaders herded in ‘the weak among us.’ As PT Barnum said, ‘No one ever lost money underestimating the intelligence of the American public.’ Just ask the hucksters who sell memory enhancement pills to the sheep on FOX, after they are told the Jan 6 committee is a ‘witch hunt’, after the riotous mob at attacked our Capitol, based on an OBVIOUS LIE!
