Because it was another

hot, boring afternoon, we watched another movie. Carol picked up 'The Iron Lady', a Meryl Streep portrayal of Margaret Thatcher. It was kinda good, not terrible, but a little slow, I thought, although Streep did a fantastic job of acting and it was historically accurate and brought back a lot of memories of the time. Did learn about the Falkland War. A little hard to follow as it jumped through time and I wasn't sure what was real and what was halucination, as she developed dementia. Not the best movie, but I've seen worse.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
