Remember Yucca Mountain?

In case you think our elected officials are even remotely competent, just look at the farce that was supposed to be the repository of used fuel rods and other radioactive debris. After spending billions of our dollars to equip this natural geologic formation, in the middle of nowhere, it was shut down by Nevada politics, right when we needed it. It's been nearly 2 decades, and while the dangerous debris continues be haphazardly warehoused, the giant facility remains empty, with no end in sight. Another example of typical governmental BS.

Yahoo…Dotard’s Big Beautiful Diesel Deal pissed off Ukraine and most of the world, plus well over half of Congress and the US, BUT, it helped his buddy Putin and his partners in Big Oil, sooo, we can see where the dick’s priorities are.

  President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia would supply the global market with 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels total.  This is equivalent to a little more than a single day of global demand.  The U.S. is a net diesel exporter so it does not need Russian supply, said Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates. Goldman Sachs estimated the initial Russian release would only reduce wholesale diesel prices by $1 to $2 per barrel, which is currently at approximately $200/barrel.
