In his tantrum, this morning,

Boehner quoted an 'un-named White House source', as saying the Dems didn't care how long this goes on, cuz 'we're winning'. Pretty strange quote, I thought, then I saw where it came from. The Wall St Journal and Washington Post, both owned by Rupert Murdoch. The WSJ and The Post were formerly  legitimate news sources, until they were bought by FOX News owner Rupert Murdoch, in his continuing effort to control public opinion, through outright lies.

On May 2, 2007, News Corporation made an unsolicited takeover bid for Dow Jones, offering US$60 a share for stock that had been selling for US$33 a share. The US$5 billion sale added The Wall Street Journal to Rupert Murdoch's news empire, which already included Fox News Channel, financial network unit and London's The Times, and locally within New York, the New York Post, along with Fox flagship station

How convenient, the Pubs get a new talking point from a FOXNews connection. Same old shit. Speaking of winning, part of the Pub's brain trust, former VP candidate Paul Ryan was quoted, referring to Pubs shutdown of the govt. 'I think we're going to win this thing'. Oh really, Paul? You guys would be funny, if you weren't so lame.

Via the Wall Street Journal:
Said a senior administration official: "We are winning...It doesn't really matter to us" how long the shutdown."
