I've tried to understand,

 BUT, there's no way to spin it, other than to tell the truth. The far right wing of the Pubs, the Tea Party, has Boehner by the balls, for some reason, and the whole country has to suffer while the Pubs hold the country hostage. The 'little people' are gonna suffer, while Boehner and his buddies 'make a political point', that they have NO CHANCE, of changing what's already law. Bottom line, 'It's all good', as the Pubs commit political suicide, with ONLY the FOX sheep supporting them, cuz they don't know any better. Nothing new here, but way too typical, as the Pubs take us down, AGAIN. Remember 2008, after 8 years of Bush?
