Israel is at war, with Hamas and others. File it under, ‘Duh, who da thunk’, after Netanyahu, much like former speaker KevBaby, had to align with the Far Right faction to get his power.

And they ALWAYS demand their payback. This time by pushing borders and building settlements on Palestinian land.

JERUSALEM, Dec 29 (Reuters) - Benjamin Netanyahu was sworn in as Israel's prime minister on Thursday in a comeback at the head of a hard-right cabinet that promises to expand Jewish settlements in the occupied West Bank and pursue other policies criticized at home and abroad.

JERUSALEM, Oct 7 (Reuters) - The mix is potentially more volatile now, with Israel's far-right government stung by the security breach and with Palestinians in despair over a never-ending occupation.

Surprise, the original occupants of the land had enough and struck back, and now the Middle East powder keg has been lit once more.

One of the problems being, Netanyahu knew/knows the US has his back, NO MATTER WHAT he does, soooo he continued to expand in nearly every direction, without regard to boundaries, pissing off nearly everyone, including tens of thousands of Israelis, who have taken to the streets in protests.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m pro Israel, BUT, you’re gonna get trouble when you have a power hungry, Trump-like leader like Yahu in charge, after he sold out to the far right. Remember the weeks of violent demonstrations not long ago, as the Israeli people could see the hardliners taking over, with war in the near future?

Well, what everyone saw coming came to pass and now who knows how bad, how long this war will be, with most of the casualties being civilians, after the religious fanatics, on both sides, got the POWER they wanted.

At the base of the conflict, like SO many across the world, over the years it’s very simple.

My God is better than your God, and if you don’t agree, I’ll kill ya.

That being said, I totally condemn the terrorist attacks by Hamas, (and maybe Hezbolla soon). But I can understand why, and how they have been pushed to them.
