I am pro-Israel and totally against the savage, barbarism from Hamas, but, nothing happens in a vacuum.

 The rightwing govt of Bibi has been ignoring the boundaries, building settlements Palestinian land and making life hell for the original inhabitants of Palestine for years, and has been much worse in the last few months as the FAR rightwing faction that Yahu was forced to cozy up with, in order to get elected has been flexing their power, trying to provoke a war, financed by the US.

Hamas, the militant arm of the Palestinians finally couldn’t take any more and turned into bloodthirsty animals, dooming the mostly innocent populations of both sides, and the centuries old religious war broke out AGAIN, as they try to prove who’s God is best by killing women, children and even some soldiers.

Sickening, as the same war goes on for thousands of years, with no end in sight….

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...
