just don't get it, when it comes to torture. John McCain, who actually has some experience in this area explains, ' it's not who we are, it doesn't work and it undermines our postion in the world.' BUT, the 'clowns in waiting', each wanting to be perceived as 'really tough', said, this week end, they're for it. Ridiculously stupid, when you look at it. Torture is gonna get you answers, but they probably won't be the right ones. I know I'd say anything, to make 'em stop, and that's been the problem, PLUS, the fact it's illegal, here and under the Geneva Convention. No matter to Bush and the Repubs, who had his token lawyer say it was fine. SO, the US took another step down in world opinion, but thankfully Obama outlawed it, for at least 2 reasons. 1.It's illegal, as well as immoral. 2. It doesn't work. Hopefully, none of these clowns will be in position to make US policy. I only wish one of them could be in enemy hands, like our soldiers could be, and have some sadist torture them while saying, 'Hey, you said it's fine, ha ha ha.'
