Two 'worst plays EVER' within one minute?
One by JR Smith and one by an 'official'.
JR Smith dribbled out the clock thinking his team, the Cavs, were AHEAD, instead of being TIED, and they went on to lose, in overtime, strangely 'covering the spread', of ten points in some REALLY bizarre calls in overtime.
BUT, before JR's bonehead play (which surprised no one who knows JR Smith) the officials colluded to reverse a 'charging call against Steph Curry, instead, giving a foul to LeBron James, (and Curry sank two FT's) with about 36 seconds to go, in a game that went to OT, thanks to Bonehead Smith.
Such a reversal has NEVER happened in any NBA game, let alone in a championship series.
NEVER has a 'block' been changed to a 'charge'. EVER. Until last night, when the Cavs lost in OT, thanks, in large part, to that call.
I quit watching the NBA after those SAME officials used to REGULARLY screw the Nuggets. No sport is dominated by crooked officials like the NBA, where the same two teams have played in the last four finals.
The zebras have RUINED a good game.
Incompetence or 'bought and paid for'?
