Great Letter to th Editor this morning in the Denver Post that personifies the difference between Dems and Pubs.

Teachers, with one of the most important jobs in society, often have to work two jobs, just to make ends meet, while Big Money ‘defense’ contractors foist multi billion dollar weapons systems on us taxpayers, getting a rubber stamp from the paid off politicos that go back and forth from the govt to the arms dealers in a revolving door.
It SUCKS, but is SO Repub, as they say we can’t afford to pay our teachers a living wage.

A $56 billion solution
Re: “Doing the math while debating teachers’ salaries,” Sept. 8 letters to the editor A letter writer intimates that Kamala Harris’ and liberals’ idea about raising teachers’ salaries would be impractical and fiscally irresponsible and require “a $56 billion shot” to the U.S. education budget. Simple solution: Take 8% of the $700 billion military budget and, presto, “a $56 billion shot” giving all teachers what they deserve. We need teachers. How many nuclear weapons do we need?
