Hopefully, you are fortunate enough to live in a blue state.

 We live in two countries now: one in which basic civil and human rights are recognized and enshrined in law, and another in which ideological extremists can decide how everyone else lives.

The Orwellian states decide which books they want to burn, as they take away a woman’s rights to her own body, including birth control and then forcing her to have an unwanted baby, while they also deny vaccines and critical care.

And then they decide if being gay, (at least ten percent of us are ‘born that way’, including some who are born in the wrong biological bodies), can even be talked about, with stealth laws that begin in the very early years and then are extended, when no one’s looking.

You may lose part of your basic health care, as doctors flee, afraid they may be forced to choose between saving a woman’s life, and going to prison, as the religious nuts take over more of our society, forcing their beliefs, myths, superstitions and ‘culture war’ on those of us who actually believe in science.

And you wonder WHY there’s a steady exodus, among the young and educated, from red to blue states? If I were young, recently graduated and especially female, I couldn’t load my car fast enough, fleeing the MAGA hatted morons…

And, like Ron Reagan, ‘Not afraid of burning in hell’, as we need more 

Freedom FROM Religion, not more religious nuts making the laws.
