The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines “woke” as African American slang for being “aware of and actively attentive to important societal facts and issues,”

 BUT, don’t get between Ron DeSantis and a microphone, or you’ll be trampled as the jerk runs to rant against all things ‘woke’.

It seems presidential candidate DeSantis, who trails the twice-impeached, convicted-of-defamation ex-president who now faces a 37-count indictment in his home state by 30 points, is searching for oxygen anywhere he can find air to breathe. He has declared war on American history for any grievance to stake his candidacy, and ‘woke’ is his main enemy.

Most of us think being woke, or ‘aware’ is a good thing. And then there’s DeSantis and the Pubs. DeSantis’ plan to keep us asleep to our past sins of racial bigotry, misogyny and transgender bias, under penalty of law, smacks of an ideology foreign to our shores while he and his cohorts burn and ban books that don’t conform to their ‘head in the sand’ philosophy.

America. What the hell happened?

Yahoo…Dotard’s Big Beautiful Diesel Deal pissed off Ukraine and most of the world, plus well over half of Congress and the US, BUT, it helped his buddy Putin and his partners in Big Oil, sooo, we can see where the dick’s priorities are.

  President Donald Trump’s diesel deal with Russia would supply the global market with 4.8 million metric tons, or nearly 36 million barrels total.  This is equivalent to a little more than a single day of global demand.  The U.S. is a net diesel exporter so it does not need Russian supply, said Andy Lipow, president of Lipow Oil Associates. Goldman Sachs estimated the initial Russian release would only reduce wholesale diesel prices by $1 to $2 per barrel, which is currently at approximately $200/barrel.
