The blue wave could be a tsunami

Trump continues to prosecute an unpopular conflict with Iran. A new CNN poll shows that overall only 26% of Americans approve of his handling of the situation with Iran, with two-thirds saying we aren’t winning the conflict and we have no clear plan to end it.

The conflict has also hit Americans in their wallets. Since the conflict with Iran began, the national average price of gasoline has surged by $1.49 per gallon or an increase of about 50%. The impact is even more dramatic for diesel, which has soared roughly $2.76 per gallon or 70%. Diesel fuels trucks, transit, agricultural machinery and cargo ships.

America has an affordability crisis with rising grocery and electricity costs, but it goes beyond that. For millions of Americans, particularly those 40 years of age and under, the American dream of owning a home continues to be out of reach. The average 30-year mortgage rate has climbed to nearly 7%, the highest level in 20 months. The median single-family home sale price in metro Denver is now about $650,000.

Meanwhile, two-thirds of Americans worry about being able to afford health care coverage. The pressure is even more intense in rural parts of America, where hospitals were already struggling to survive and have been impacted by the One Big Beautiful Bill.

At a time when a recent Fox poll showed that 63% of Americans believe that the Trump administration has made the economy worse, Trump opened a new trade war with our largest trading partner, imposing 50% tariffs on Canada on roughly $20 billion of Canadian goods, and Canada responded in kind, with a dollar-for-dollar tariff on American products, including steel, aluminum, furniture, electronics and agricultural goods and food products.

I could go on and on, BUT….are you getting the picture?

One thing is for sure: a blue wave is coming, and it might just be a tsunami….and for that, we thank the LYING, morally bankrupt, corrupt, incompetent, GREEDY wannabe dictator, for snatching defeat, from the jaws of victory.

Saw a good movie yesterday,

that really showed how fast time flies. Argo is about the hostage crisis in Iran, 33 years ago, and has a bit of history at the the beginning, that most of us have forgotten, as in WHY the Iranian people were SO pissed off at Americans. In 1953, the popularly elected president of Iran was replaced by the Shah of Iran, in a coup directed and financed by the CIA and the US, to protect America's Big Oil interests, much the same way Saddam Hussein was installed in Iraq. The shah, like Hussein, was a despot who tyrannized the people and looted the treasury. When he was overthrown, in a populist revolution, he fled to the US, but the Iranians wanted to put him on trial. Hence, the Iranian mobs took out their anger on the US embassy and it's workers. Argo, based on a true story, tells how Hollywood helped smuggle six Americans back home, with a fake movie. Good flick that explained a lot about why 'they hate us' over there, and brought back many memori...

I'm not a Bible scholar,

so I don't know if it's tue, but I read that Paul, the 'founder' of Christianity, author of the Gospel of John, and the most prolific writer of the New Testament, never referred to a virgin birth, in ANY of his writings. Neither did Mark, the first of the apostles to write a Gospel. Matthew was the first to add it to the story. Furthermore, they referred to Jesus as being of the lineage of David, to fulfill an Old Testament prophecy, BUT, the lineage is from Joseph, his father(?). Pretty interesting, I think, and doesn't make sense to me, but I'm just a logical, rational person, not a Bible scholar. Am I just 'misinformed'?
