His policies have been a disaster for the industry, as he’s screwed up building materials with his tariffs on wood, steel and aluminum from Canada, he’s run off affordable immigrant labor and killed the mortgage market with the highest rates in a decade, thanks to his bullshit war which has gas and diesel at record highs.


And you wonder WHY the housing market, the biggest employer in the US is totally F*cked?

Thank your boy Donnie, the LYING, morally bankrupt, arrogant, corrupt, incompetent, GREEDY, wannabe dictator…who screws up everything he touches.

Trump’s tariffs have raised the price of lumber, steel, appliances and other building materials, adding an estimated $10,900 to the cost of a typical new home. His immigration crackdown has worsened a construction-worker shortage, while his war with Iran has helped push up energy prices, inflation and mortgage rates. At the same time, his administration has cut Department of Housing and Urban Development staff and housing grants and proposed deep cuts to programs that help communities finance affordable homes.

Saw a good movie yesterday,

that really showed how fast time flies. Argo is about the hostage crisis in Iran, 33 years ago, and has a bit of history at the the beginning, that most of us have forgotten, as in WHY the Iranian people were SO pissed off at Americans. In 1953, the popularly elected president of Iran was replaced by the Shah of Iran, in a coup directed and financed by the CIA and the US, to protect America's Big Oil interests, much the same way Saddam Hussein was installed in Iraq. The shah, like Hussein, was a despot who tyrannized the people and looted the treasury. When he was overthrown, in a populist revolution, he fled to the US, but the Iranians wanted to put him on trial. Hence, the Iranian mobs took out their anger on the US embassy and it's workers. Argo, based on a true story, tells how Hollywood helped smuggle six Americans back home, with a fake movie. Good flick that explained a lot about why 'they hate us' over there, and brought back many memori...

I'm not a Bible scholar,

so I don't know if it's tue, but I read that Paul, the 'founder' of Christianity, author of the Gospel of John, and the most prolific writer of the New Testament, never referred to a virgin birth, in ANY of his writings. Neither did Mark, the first of the apostles to write a Gospel. Matthew was the first to add it to the story. Furthermore, they referred to Jesus as being of the lineage of David, to fulfill an Old Testament prophecy, BUT, the lineage is from Joseph, his father(?). Pretty interesting, I think, and doesn't make sense to me, but I'm just a logical, rational person, not a Bible scholar. Am I just 'misinformed'?
