Of course Boss Hogg is fighting the International Criminal Court! It’s designed to bring war criminals, like Netanyahu and Trump to justice, sooo, just like he fights every indictment, he’s fighting the Intl Criminal Court, like any other criminal, with money does.

 

The Trump Administration Is Fighting to Bring the International Criminal Court to Its Knees

Japan, the European Union, and other U.S. allies have pledged to defend the ICC from the Trump administration’s pressure campaign, though it remains unclear what that defense would entail. The Wall Street Journal reported that the EU could try to force European banks to continue doing business with the court, a move that could invite another confrontation with Washington, as Trump struggles to avoid sanctions.

The ICC’s core defect is that it is a court without an enforcement mechanism. It can issue declarations, indict leaders, and generate favorable headlines, but it must ultimately beg sovereign governments to make an arrest. That dependency makes the court especially impotent against powerful authoritarian states like China, Russia and now Trump.

Wow, the asshole continues to be an embarrassment to the US…and humanity.
