Friday nite date review

New James Bond flick, 'Quantum of Solace, was good, but not great. Great action and scenery, really like Daniel Craig as the new Bond, and a really bad, bad guy, BUT, the plot was too convoluted to follow, and the action got in the way of the story. Dinner at Bloom's, to celebrate (?) my new job, starting Tuesday, was excellent. Would really recommend the duck, with 'drunken cherry' sauce, BUT, the highlight was the wine. A German Reisling, called Saint M. Strange name, but, WOW. My new favorite wine...

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
