I think it is my favorite holiday


Thanksgiving, that is. When we pause to give thanks for our many blessings, which in my case, FamGuy, is my family. Immediate and extended. I have been so fortunate. Am also thankful for our health and for this beautiful part of the world we call home. AND, it is a great excuse to eat a bunch of great food. And then the leftovers, mmmm. SO, wishing all my readers (both of you), a wonderful time together with your loved ones and some great leftovers...

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
