Good news, bad news

Good news, I was able to recognize a truly great wine, and track it down. Bad news, the wine merchant lied to me, and they DON'T have it stock and can't get it. The distributor is sold out. Oh well, I have a challenge. The German Reisling, Saint M, 2006, seems to be very popular, for a reason. VERY special wine, and I WILL find it. Good place to start my personal wine cellar....

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them.
