at the wheel of his Bronco, hauling his pop-up, after he shot both elk we got this year. Other than being a bit politically obtuse, though not as bad as before, he is an EXCELLENT hunting buddy, and all-around good friend. Not sure how many years (22?) that we've hunted together, but I doubt if there's anyone, outside of prison, who has a better success rate. Thanks, buddy, for putting up with me, all these years.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap.
