A few observations, on this election day
In 2008, after 8 years of the Pubs, GW (with his 22% approval rating) wasn't allowed anywhere NEAR the Pub candidates, but they lost anyway, as the nation said, "No more Repubs!'
Now, after 8 years of Obama(D), he is at a near-record high for a president, while former Pub presidents and candidates won't go near their toxic candidate.
Our friends around the world have near UNANIMOUS support for Clinton, while economists fear world-wide financial collapse if Trump(R) wins. BUT, N Korea, Russia and FOXNews support the Orange One.
The shameless hypocrites, also known as the Evangelicals mindlessly support The Donald, while those of us with an education are scared shitless what would happen with him in power.
Bottom line, this election didn't really split the country, it just highlighted the chasm that was already there, and nothing is gonna change. Those who swallow the lies from FOX will continue to do so as they hope to get their job back at the local coal mine, and will continue to believe that cities are full of Satanic cultists, but gladly accept their welfare, food stamps and Medicade while bitching about Socialism.
The Repubs will continue to obstruct EVERYTHING and will convene even MORE committees and investigations while refusing to even consider their duty to fill the Supreme Court, after vowing to 'let the people decide', and the bumpkins will bitch and moan, saying Hillary is gonna 'Take Our Guns'. Some things never change....
