Saw a good movie, recently,
'The Imitation Game', which is the true story of Alan Turing, who broke the German 'Enigma' code, which was said to have shortened the war by at least two years, saving millions of lives. His 'digital machine' was the origin of modern computers. He happened to be gay.
He was arrested for his 'crime' against humanity, convicted and forced to undergo 'hormonal therapy'. He committed suicide one year into his 'treatment', but was posthumously pardoned by Queen Elizabeth just recently.
I was reminded of this when I read that future VP Mike Pence supported 'conversion therapy' as law, when he was gov of the backwater state of Indiana.
Remember when YOU had to choose whether to be gay or straight? Nope, me neither. NO ONE has ever CHOSEN their sexuality, no matter what the rightwingnuts say/believe. Ben Carson, who believes the same way, is also gonna be a mucky muck in the Trump admin.
In other FOXNews headlines, his main choice for Social Security admisistrator has advocated for PRIVATIZATION of Soc Sec his entire career.
