and the Repub party is 'anti-science', to placate their Bible Belt Base, the largest meeting of Geo-Scientists in the world, this week, was 'off-limits' to the Pub controlled administration's scientists.

Fewer U.S. scientists go to top world conference

NEW ORLEANS» Hundreds of U.S. Geological Survey scientists were missing from the biggest conference in their field this month.

Typically, some 450 researchers from the nation’s top natural resources and natural hazards agency attend the annual meeting of the American Geophysical Union, the largest gathering of Earth, space and climate scientists in the world.

But in the weeks before this year’s conference, the Interior Department — which oversees the USGS — issued a new cap on attendance: 

As a result, just 178 USGS researchers were present at the AGU conference in New Orleans last week — a 60 percent drop from last year.

According to spokeswoman A.B. Wade, the USGS was not given a rationale for the policy shift.

 In 'Letters to the Editor', today, one of Trump's minions (one of the brainiacs who elected the Dotard) chimed in after a cancer patient from Denver, in the last stages of an extremely painful disease was giving life ending drugs, BUT, they took over 8 hours to act.  Deanna (below), a literal Bible believer, was very sympathetic (HA) to the person and his family's suffering. After all, it was their fault, cuz Eve ate the apple, obviously.

God didn’t come up with death; it is a consequence of sin on this planet. Pain is a horrible thing. I cannot judge anyone’s pain. I pray that suffering in disease ends (oh really?), but not at the cost of life.
