The jerks(R) are playing the LONG GAME
as they throw some tax breaks, (that dissolve in a few years), to the working class, BUT, create YUUUUGE tax breaks for the super-rich, (who can afford the myriads of lobbyists who wrote the bill), that NEVER expire.
Same old 'slight of hand' that works so well for their minions. Bottom line, the tax cut looks good now, but it is the SAME tax break that the Dems have tried to get for YEARS, but the 'fiscally responsible' (my ASS). Pubs said we couldn't afford.
More wars and weapons? NO PROBLEM. Tax breaks or health care? NO WAY from the Repubs.
Now, the Hypocrites(R) are passing a 'bait and switch' (temporary vs permanent) tax plan that busts the Treasury, so they can say, 'Hey we finally did SOMETHING!
