Wow, I’m shocked…that this is how the Repub Trumpies spent our money. HA! Not really….not at all.

Former DHS Secretary Kristi Noem went off on The New York Times over a damning report about her contract awards. The former Trump cabinet member is asking for a retraction of the outlet’s findings on a multimillion-dollar no-bid aircraft deal.

The Times reported that Noem awarded lucrative no-competition contracts in her final days leading the department. DHS purchased five luxury jets from Daedalus Aviation Corporation, a Virginia-based company chaired by pro-Trump donor William Walters. The company had never previously received a government contract, before the $464 million, no-bid, sale.

This is the same administration that spent $200 million on a DHS ad campaign featuring Ms. Noem riding a horse near Mt. Rushmore, while her hubby was home with his giant ballon boobs. Look it up, FOXSheep.


Yeah, they coulda bought a used airplane from one of Trump’s campaign donors.

Saw a good movie yesterday,

that really showed how fast time flies. Argo is about the hostage crisis in Iran, 33 years ago, and has a bit of history at the the beginning, that most of us have forgotten, as in WHY the Iranian people were SO pissed off at Americans. In 1953, the popularly elected president of Iran was replaced by the Shah of Iran, in a coup directed and financed by the CIA and the US, to protect America's Big Oil interests, much the same way Saddam Hussein was installed in Iraq. The shah, like Hussein, was a despot who tyrannized the people and looted the treasury. When he was overthrown, in a populist revolution, he fled to the US, but the Iranians wanted to put him on trial. Hence, the Iranian mobs took out their anger on the US embassy and it's workers. Am really conflicted,

with the 'scandals' in Wahington. First of all Benghazi is not a scandal, no matter how hard the Pubs try to make it into one. BUT, the IRS and AP affairs have some merit, although the Tea Party (created and supported by the Koch bros) and FOX News are just arms of the Repub Party, whose sole intent is to take down Obama and the Dems, by any and all means. That is a given. SO, should the Dems just roll over when they are constantly under attack? No, BUT, they need to fight legally, and using the IRS and stifling a free press isn't right either. Not NEARLY as egregious as the last admin's behavior, but wrong, none the less. Personally, it just makes me more disgusted at the dirty game of politics that is all about the power and money involved, rather than doing what is best for the people.
