Last week, the White House unveiled  America.gov , a search tool it declared to be no less than “the unified digital front door to the Federal Government.”  This gizmo, a White House news release said, will usher in a “fundamentally different relationship between the people and the Federal Government, defined by simplicity, speed, accuracy, security, and respect for the individual.” BUT, it contradicts president Trump on most of his talking points, most notably, who won the 2020 election and if there’s widespread voter fraud in the US. After test-driving the chatbot, reporters were inclined to agree, finding it did a good job at debunking Trump’s oft-repeated falsehoods on topics...

  The United States military has had 81 aircraft destroyed or damaged in the  war with Iran , a Congressional Research Service report released this week says. This is double the number, given by the Pentagon, from last month. The total cost of the war is much higher – at least $45 billion, sources have  told CNN . That figure doesn't include  damage to infrastructure  at US bases in the region, including those where some of the aircraft losses happened , that has been estimated at over ten billion.

Whatever…but I can understand why some people really like cats…and some really don’t.
