I don't normally brag,

as everyone knows (?), but I had a very special day on the links yesterday, with my buddy Scott. In all the years I've golfed, I've only broken 80 twice, before, BUT, yesterday I shot an honest 79, (no Mulligans, gimmes or rule bending), and it was really fun. After dreaming about unlimited golf throughout my entire working life, then actually doing it (until I got burnt out), I am returning to my true love, with a new swing, and am feeling the excitement again. It's all about a controlled swing, with very few moving parts, that can be replicated. So far, it's working, and am looking forward to playing my favorite courses, again.

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...

Just wait 'til Bonehead leads us all over the cliff, to save his 2% buddies having to pay a little higher tax. The Pubs keep thinking the American public is stupid, and they can get away with their phony political crap. They keep forgetting we're not all a bunch of FOXNews sheep, who'll swallow whatever swill is shoveled to them. A once proud party, like a beast in it's death throes, striking out to harm whatever's close, threatening to shut the gov't down, (again), over the debt limit, which is just paying the bills they already ran up.
