Even before the movie ‘Deliverance’, the South had the reputation as ‘not real bright’.

 After spending several years of my life, as a young man working in the Dallas areas and then later as a Disaster Insurance Adjuster throughout Texas, Louisiana and Florida, I got to know a LOT of really good people in those HOT, humid, low education Southern states, where finishing high school made you one of the ‘elite’. Not even gonna get into their slavery/lynching/discrimination background.

Nice yes, intelligent as a group? No. And LARGE. Just try to walk through a Walmart on a Saturday afternoon. Of course there are many exceptions to both rules, but am talking ‘as a group’, here.

Now, the home of Dotard’s base and the homeland of TV preachers and snake handlers is proving it again as they are the epicenter of the latest COVID outbreak, cuz they, loyal FOXCrap swallowers, have the lowest, by far, vaccination rates. Luckily, this is a situation with a certain ‘Instant Karma’ that rewards gullibility and ignorance with lung problems.

Again, they are salt of the earth, nice people. Just not real bright, as proven by their COVID and presidential choices….

Great 'bargains' at the local Sprouts store

where we picked up asparagus and baby back ribs. Carol and I went for the same stuff (serarately, today), cuz it is so good, AND a great price. Had it for dinner tonight. WOW. One of my fav dinners, as the ribs start out in the crock pot, then finish on the grill, with fresh asparagus. (and bread pudding for dessert) I LOVE this time of year...
