She went on to make the historically incorrect assertion that the principle of the separation of church and state is “not in the Constitution, it was in a stinking letter…” Before going any further, it is important to clearly establish the factual record. The separation of church and state is enshrined in the establishment clause of the First Amendment. It states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof…” The “stinking letter” is the October 1801 correspondence between then-President Thomas Jefferson and the Danbury (CT) Baptist Association where Jefferson sought to assure them the government had no interest in impeding the free exercise of religion.

Could go on, but WHY? Just like the morons who support Dotard, and his Big Lie, the idiots aren’t gonna have a ‘come to Jesus moment’, HERE.

Why do I both3? To keep my own sanity, that’s why, in the face of FOX/Dotard based insanity, where facts don’t matter. Where the election was Stolen. Just happy that I’m retired, and can ‘ease out’, while our country goes down the tubes.
