  GOP balances condemnation of Putin, allegiance to Trump WASHINGTON — Russia's   war on Ukraine   is testing former President Donald Trump's sway with Republican officials. Most of them are treating him the way he's treating Russian autocrat Vladimir Putin: seeking distance but refusing to condemn. While Trump  inched closer  to criticizing Putin's invasion of Ukraine Saturday night, he continued to portray the Russian leader in a positive light. "It happens to be a man that is just driven, he’s driven to put it together,” Trump said at a political rally in South Carolina. That followed a Thursday Fox News interview in which host Sean Hannity  tried — and failed —  to get Trump to offer anything but praise for Putin.

  The Kremlin asked Russian media to highlight   Fox News   host   Tucker Carlson ’s broadcasts “as much as possible” earlier this month, due to his criticisms of the U.S. and its NATO allies in his coverage of the Ukraine crisis. A leaked 12-page memo from a Russian government agency to media on March 3 said “it is essential to use as much as possible fragments of broadcasts” by Carlson.” Why do I care what is going on in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia?” Carlson said. “And I’m serious. Why do I care? Why shouldn’t I root for Russia? Which I am.” He later claimed he was joking. So YouTube booted him, and his bullshit….. Trump was banned from YouTube, Twitter and Facebook, because, unlike FOXNews, they have standards for TRUTH. Not that the sheep give a shit.

Madison Cawthorn, R-N.C., called Ukraine President Volodymyr Zelensky a "thug" at a campaign event over the weekend.  "Remember that Zelensky is a thug,"  Cawthorn said in a video obtained by WRAL . "Remember that the Ukrainian government is incredibly corrupt and is incredibly evil and has been pushing woke ideologies."  And you wonder WHY I can’t stand ‘em(R)?

But we DO know they were egged on by FOX heroes, Sean and Tucker after the Canadian truckers caused a mess in Canada.  On Sunday, they formed a convoy and did two loops around the Capital Beltway. What did they accomplish? Who knows. They’re threatening to repeat the driving-around-in-a-big-circle thing Monday, but to show they really mean business, they’re adding a third Beltway lap, and organizers say they’ll add an extra lap each day until their demands are met. What are their demands? Again, who knows....
