Cuz I'm still recuperating, and kinda old,
I didn't make it OUT last night for any of the many, outdoor events on a beautiful evening. But, I did hear the very vocal fans of the first HS football game of the season, as two local teams, Broomfield and Legacy opened their season.
AND, I was able to watch on TV as CU crushed CSU, 44-7, in the annual Rocky Mountain Showdown, and caught the end of the Rockies game where they had 12 runs in 2 innings to beat Arizona.
Plus, Kari texted pics from Riot Fest where there were a BUNCH of great bands playing. Yup, it's definitely getting toward the end of summer, beginning my fave time of year, in one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
And then there's Donald Trump, and his brain-dead minions, who cheer wildly when he promises to get rid of over 11 million 'illegals' in the first minute of the first hour of the first day of his administration. Yup, and the same Bozos who swallow FOXCrap go crazy, never thinking WTF? HOW is he gonna DO that? They're typical rightwingnut idiots who don't have a clue, as they swallow anything and everything that's ANTI-DEM, cuz that's how they've been programmed, after being recruited out of 'Literal Bible' congregations. NOTHING is too unbelievable for their unquestioning 'minds'. Nothing new here, but we are in Sept, approx 2 months from the election in Nov, when we can finally hear the end of The Donald making statements and promises that are just plain 'full of shit', that the Pubs love to 'hear and cheer'.
BUT, that font of wisdom, Michelle Bachmann(R) assured us that this would be the 'last election', if the Pubs don't win. HUH? I'd think a thumper like her would recognize that if Trump wins it surely is 'the end times'. Seems pretty obvious to me, and should be fun to watch, as Western civilization ends with a bang.
President Hillary can't happen soon enough.......
